Exploring Life & Business with Laura Haack

Today we’d like to introduce you to Laura Haack.

Hi Laura, thanks for joining us today. We’d love for you to start by introducing yourself.

I am the daughter of an immigrant, pursuing the American dream just like my father. He moved to America two weeks before I was born. I graduated high school as a Junior and continued to college where I met my husband who led me back to his hometown here in Texas. We became involved in the Real Estate Investment Industry and loved it from the beginning.

After a few years in the industry we were presented with a mentorship opportunity and completed our first fix and flip property, hands-on. My husband soon moved into General Contracting and New Construction which launched our career in Investment Consulting. As Investment Consultants we assist new Investors in acquiring distressed homes and walk them through the process of flipping the properties. We manage these projects and mentor investors through each phase.
To continue growing in my Real Estate career I decided to become a licensed Realtor. I am blessed with the opportunity to assist clients all over DFW in reaching their real estate goals and living their own American Dream! Now there is almost no area of the Real Estate Industry that we cannot service. I am excited for the expansion of our business and the ability to service the DFW metroplex with quality experiences.
Can you talk to us a bit about the challenges and lessons you’ve learned along the way? Looking back, would you say it’s been easy or smooth in retrospect?
Completing the education to become a Real Estate Agent during my pregnancy, while also working full-time, was a challenge that I was eager to accept. The reward of contributing to the foundation of my family’s future was well worth it. I learned a good amount about managing stress and responsibilities while leaning on God through the process. It was initially tricky to balance family and work, but I have found a balance and am grateful for that!
Thanks for sharing that. So, maybe next you can tell us a bit more about your business?
I am a local JPar Realtor servicing the Dallas-Fort Worth Metroplex. I assist those who would like to buy or sell a home, rent to own, invest, flip, build, renovate, luxury real estate dealings… all of your Real Estate needs! My experience with Real Estate Investments provides a vast array of knowledge that has proven beneficial to my clients. Whether it be interior design assistance or guidance in strategies to reach their goals, I provide solutions to support my client’s success. I have made my social media a source of opportunities and information, as well as encouragement and inspiration for life, health, fitness, and business to support others on their path of life. I am eager to reach my client’s goals and provide quality experiences, never forgetting to enjoy the journey!
We’d love to hear what you think about risk-taking.
I do view myself as a risk taker. I completed my Real Estate classes during pregnancy, and decided to wait to take the final test until after my son made his arrival. I had an assisted natural home birth planned and wanted to be sure I had no stress in the weeks leading up to my due date. The fears that are associated with natural labor, and the required mental fortitude, was a risk in my mind. Overcoming those fears set a new tone of confidence in my own abilities as a woman. I had a perfect home birth and was blessed with a healthy baby boy! Shortly after having my son I passed my Real Estate Salesperson exam on my first attempt and became a licensed Realtor. I’ve come to understand that most pivotal life decisions come with a level of risk. Reaching past the limits of comfort demands growth into new heights, presenting life changing experiences!
