Exploring Life & Business with Meredith Williams of Lemons Can Fly

Today we’d like to introduce you to Meredith Williams.

Hi Meredith, so excited to have you with us today. What can you tell us about your story?
I was always a creative child. I started drawing and creating art at an early age. I decided in middle school that I wanted to own a clothing line, but my path took me other places first. I went to college for graphic design but decided early I didn’t want to pursue that as a career. Right after graduating, I picked up my first camera and fell in love with storytelling. Now I plan to use storytelling to help heal and motivate my community while spreading my message through my clothing line.

Would you say it’s been a smooth road, and if not, what are some of the biggest challenges you’ve faced along the way?
I truly believe everything happens for a reason. I’ve been reading a lot more recently, and it has strengthen this belief. Of course, nothing is easy, but chasing a dream is fun. Even on the hard days. I try my best not to sweat the small stuff. Although I have started over on this journey multiple times, starting over is the biggest struggle. The second biggest struggle was overcoming being a workaholic. I used to be a work, work, work, worker, but I understand now I will get there when I get there. I’ve been practicing letting go so everything and everyone I interact with goes as smoothly as I need it to go.

As you know, we’re big fans of Lemons Can Fly. For our readers who might not be as familiar, what can you tell them about the brand?
Lemons Can Fly is my clothing brand. It’s a brand for the people and for the soul. We uplift and invite people to be themselves. We advocate for you to truly walk in your superpower because the world needs you. You are a powerful being, worthy of all that you desire. I am proud to say we actually care about your mind, body, and spirit. We believe in healthy minds and healthy bodies. I am proud to be here and to be pushing through. Somebody is always watching, and I just want to be a beacon for believers. I’m looking to build a community with those who are flying, who want to fly, and even those who need a little a push to fly again. We are young, but we intend to be global. I say get on the plane now.

We’d love to hear about any fond memories you have from when you were growing up.
My favorite childhood memory is all the time I spent with my family in the country for holidays and random weekends. I have a big family, and ever since my mom became an angel, the family hasn’t been the same.
