Today we’d like to introduce you to Faith Anderson.
Hi Faith, thanks for joining us today. We’d love for you to start by introducing yourself.
I knew at a very young age that there was always more out there for me. I grew up in a small country town in Pembroke, NY with about 76 people in my graduating class. At the time all I knew was small-town living and yes cows and cornfields haha. I remember when I was so small, I could barely see out the window noticing homes for sale and wondering what it would be like to be in those homes and to also sell them. I also loved animals and found a sense of calmness around them. My family had hidden demons behind closed doors not many from the outside knew about. My father was very abusive-physically with my mother and mostly verbal with me and my siblings. I grew up protecting everyone, always making sure my sisters and brother were distracted while things happened in the home. That was a time I developed my trait of being nurturing and helping others. I also became an overachiever trying to impress my father to be proud of me by always getting good grades. More traumas happened throughout the ages of 5-22. Looking back, I am grateful for those times that made me who I am today and the driven, powerful, resilient businesswoman. I ended up failing out of college when my father was in a very severe motorcycle accident to come home and help my family. I worked overnight waitressing and was a medical assistant for some time while I found my passion for real estate. I had a very successful career for ten years being a first-time home buying specialist and also got into property management toward the end of that career. I knew there was still more out there for me so decided the end of 2007 to take a trip to San Diego that changed my life forever. While I’m vacation, I rented an apartment the fifth day, went back home and sold everything, and drove back across the country three weeks later.
Getting to San Diego I decided that real estate was burning me out and decided to go back to school which this time I excelled and entered the field of veterinary medicine as and RVT working in neurology. Everything was going great for 7 years. I even got a supervisor role 5 years in and was at the top of my field in a very short time. 5 years ago, I was in a bad car accident that changed everything I knew, and looking back although I was severely hurt it saved me. I went back to work right after the accident with a brain injury and other ones and just kept working 12-14 hours a day at the hospital in constant pain hiding it from everyone. One year after the accident I almost died. My immune system completely shut down. My kidneys and liver were failing. The doctors couldn’t figure out why I was so sick and then the diagnoses started. First fibromyalgia, chronic fatigue, PoTS, and then Lupus. I knew out on disability I had to make some massive changes and that was to always put myself and my health including mental health first. I realized we only have one body and if we don’t take care of it nothing else matters.
At this time, I dove headfirst into nutrition and fitness. I began meditating and making sure my days were filled with laughter and fun. As soon as I was able to get out of bed, I felt the need to be in the sun. I remember the day I crawled out the door I said “God if you allow me to make it outside in the sun, I swear I will do something with this and help other people. I made it outside and the next day my health began to improve. I got my nutrition under control and was able to control the autoimmune diseases. I started being online and sharing my story to help others. I started an in-home nursing care business for animals so I could still help the fur babies but in a more stress-free environment. I decided never to work for someone else again.
Fast forward about three years later Covid hit. I lost both my businesses within 2 weeks. This was different this time I was already prepared to pivot again. Almost like I was prepped when I almost died. I decided to get into the day trading space and never looked back.
I am now a full-time day trader-that’s 4-6 hours a week!! I love to travel and have spent so much time with friends and family even traveling Europe for six weeks and Tulum for over a month amongst other places. I create my days how I want them and at the same time, I still help the fur babies and also teach others across the world how to make money in the markets. I know now no matter what happens I will make money and so will others.
One quote that has always stuck with me “You will either sacrifice being comfortable or sacrifice your dreams”. I have realized our life is made up of choices and we get to choose how it goes. We are not a victim of our circumstances-if we choose to! We are also not our circumstances and can create the lives we want to live; I am living proof and you can be too!
Would you say it’s been a smooth road, and if not, what are some of the biggest challenges you’ve faced along the way?
Health autoimmune diseases
Car accident
Managing stress

What matters most to me is that I can make someone smile or laugh that day. To show people another way of life to inspire them that they can have it to. To be real and vulnerable and at the same time always have a positive give outlook. To give people hope and faith things will get better!
