Hidden Gems: Meet Gabrielle Roseman of The Daiquiri Den

Today we’d like to introduce you to Gabrielle Roseman.

Hi Gabrielle, so excited to have you on the platform. So, before we get into questions about your work-life, maybe you can bring our readers up to speed on your story and how you got to where you are today?
I’ve always known that I would one day own my own business. After high school I went straight into the working field and enrolled in cosmetology school, After I developed a passion for coloring hair, I started to gain a social media following and learned the importance of strategic marketing. A few years later, I ventured off and opened my own salon suite that was short-lived. I realized that being a mother, working a full-time job, and trying to manage my own business was not going to be as easy as I thought. I left the cosmetology industry and was given the opportunity to enter into the Human Resources industry which helped me gain even more knowledge about businesses. Fast forward five years later, here I am!

Alright, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall, and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
The journey was full of adversity; however, I am grateful for the difficulties we faced. I learned a great deal during the implementation process which will make it easier for our next location.

Great, so let’s talk business. Can you tell our readers more about what you do and what you think sets you apart from others?
I pride myself on being hands-on in my company. I don’t mind getting my hands dirty. I enjoy helping my staff and showing them that we are all in this together.
