Hidden Gems: Meet Lee Buchanan of Sold Buy Lee

Today we’d like to introduce you to Lee Buchanan.

Hi Lee, we’d love for you to start by introducing yourself.
I have been in the industry for the last 19 years on the lender side, I decided to make a leap to the real estate side after getting burned out on the lender side. The commissions on the real estate side attracted me as well. Being a real estate agent is very satisfying. I offer a wealth of knowledge to my clients, and they appreciate this. I pride myself on ensuring that my clients are informed buyers/sellers.

We all face challenges, but looking back would you describe it as a relatively smooth road?
The million-dollar question! Lol! I would say that real estate is synonymous with challenges. You have to be very savvy to be a real estate agent because it’s not for the weak. Real estate is SALES! You have to get out and find clients! As an agent, I would say that the biggest challenge was in 2020 when Covid hit. From that point on as an agent, I had to get creative. I started taking on more rental/lease clients and lease-to-purchase programs to navigate the crazy market. Of course, I prevailed but it was definitely a very peculiar time.

Great, so let’s talk business. Can you tell our readers more about what you do and what you think sets you apart from others?
I specialize in all things real estate! I am a relocation expert. Many things set me apart from other agents. I pride myself on going above and beyond for all of my clients. I treat my lease clients the same as I do my buyers and sellers. I offer suggestions and advice. I help people realize their dream of HOMEOWNERSHIP! I am most proud of the continuous referrals I receive from past and present clients. After all, this is a referral business. I want people to know that whether you are leasing, buying, or selling I will hold your hand through the entire process! I will answer all your questions and even help with the leg work. I have assisted clients with packing boxes, running errands, making videos, and picking up keys, you name it! I am building a relationship that I want to last forever! My mother told me that I treat my clients like they are family. I hope my clients feel like all their needs are met and that they made an excellent choice choosing me to represent them with a very important decision in their life. After all, “It’s not a loan, it’s a HOME!”

Where do you see things going in the next 5-10 years?
Oh, wee! Yes, this industry is already in the process of changing. Home prices and values are through the roof! (No pun intended! lol!) I see the government having to implement some kind of big incentive to builders and home buyers and sellers to stabilize the industry and make people feel comfortable with homeownership and selling their homes.
