Today we’d like to introduce you to Sarah Frick & Haley Asher. Them and their team share their story with us below:
Tulsa Time Travelers was established in April 2022 and is the brainchild of Haley Asher (Sol Sister Secondhand) and Sarah Frick (Polly Hester.) The idea was born through a mutual love for vintage and a desire to create a network of fellow artists and collectors. Throughout 2022 we focused on small monthly markets in Tulsa and grew a dedicated following. In 2023, we plan to expand to new cities and host large-scale expos for lovers of all things groovy!
We all face challenges, but looking back would you describe it as a relatively smooth road?
As a new business beginning at the tail end of the pandemic, we were unsure about the climate of the event industry but have been pleasantly surprised by the response we have gotten and the safe, inclusive space we have been able to create. As we continue to grow, I’m sure we will face new obstacles, but we are excited to learn from them.
We’ve been impressed with Time Travelers Vintage Expo, but for folks who might not be as familiar, what can you share with them about what you do and what sets you apart from others?
Tulsa Time Travelers hosts large-scale retro-themed expos. Attendees can expect to find vintage and vintage-inspired clothing, accessories, home goods, handmade items, records, experiences such as vintage photo ops, tarot reading, palmistry, and more! Our vendors are hand selected and curated for a broad shopping experience. Beginning in 2023, we will be expanding to 4 new cities, Dallas being one of them!
