Today we’d like to introduce you to Brittney Campbell.
Hi Brittney, thanks for sharing your story with us. To start, maybe you can tell our readers some of your backstory.
I’ve always had a love for art. I never knew how to channel it for the longest. It was not until I was in high school. I took my very first art class and my art teacher was amazing. She motivated me to expand my horizon and try new things.
So, I did and won an award at our local art show. It was one of the greatest feelings because I had worked so hard in class on my “I Have A Dream” painting (Hint the name). God is all in the details!
There was a lot of self-doubt along the way. I had to deal with and work through. “Is my work good enough?” “Am I really capable of doing this?”
I went to school for business, but I found out quickly my heart was not in it. Deep down, I’ve always wanted to create art. I believe you can go all around the world and try different things but somehow, you will always end up coming back to your first love. My first love is designing. I am passionate about encouraging others to do the same. I believe if you are passionate about something that you can’t get out of your head. Pursue it. You never know where God will take you with your dreams!
Can you talk to us a bit about the challenges and lessons you’ve learned along the way. Looking back would you say it’s been easy or smooth in retrospect?
I wish I could say it has been a smooth road, but I have definitely experienced challenging oppositions. I think the biggest one was overcoming self-doubt as a self-taught designer and wondering were my designs ever good enough. I guess always thinking did I know enough to be a real “designer,” but I love how God always encourages me in those low seasons that I am making an impact in the lives of others with my designs.
We’ve been impressed with Royal Daughters, but for folks who might not be as familiar, what can you share with them about what you do and what sets you apart from others?
I am a brand designer who specializes in creating strategic brand identities and innovative design solutions for women-led small businesses. Small business owners turn to me when they’re ready to say bye to DIY and hello to professional design. I love creating brand strategy, social media strategy, and content creation for my client’s social media. I am passionate about strategic design that will help their brand shine through unforgettably. What sets me apart is my eye for detail and really going over and beyond to see their vision come to the past. What I love most is the transformation aspect of making their vision a reality. To start from nothing but an idea and together we build a strong visual identity that’s long-lasting is what I love most!

My absolute favorite book is the Holy Bible! There are so many gems found in scripture that help me in business.
