Today we’d like to introduce you to Terry Roberson.
Hi Terry, thanks for sharing your story with us. To start, maybe you can tell our readers some of your backstories.
Terry’s Mobile Notary Service was established in 2015. I can remember I needed some documents notarized and at the time I couldn’t make it to a bank or location to get them notarized. At that moment I thought to myself it would be beneficial if a traveling notary existed. It gave me the idea to look into becoming a notary on wheels. I’ve gone as far as 2hrs away for my clients. A lot of my clients are elderly and aren’t able to move around as they would like so someone coming to them to assist with their notary needs helps them out a lot.
I come from a household of six brothers and sisters. Growing up we didn’t have much but we were always with each other. We all had something different that we were able to contribute to the family rather it be style and fashion or an idea that could potentially benefit all of us. I have two other brothers who live in different states, one in Georgia and the other in Virginia who also are notary publics and we are currently in the making of starting a family business where we will be signing agents and also Realtors. I am currently studying for the exam now.
Thank You for taking the time to get to know a little bit about me and my business Terry’s Mobile Notary Service.
~ Terry
Being that I am a traveling notary I would say the biggest struggle that I’ve faced was trying to make it to everyone at the time they request. Other than that, no big struggles I get to meet and interact with many people from different backgrounds every day, and being a people person, it’s rewarding because you come across people you thought you would never meet. Sometimes you build key relationships with people and they pass your name and business along to others and then there you go gaining new clients because you left a remarkable print or someone else.
I’m sure you wouldn’t say it’s been obstacle-free, but so far would you say the journey has been a fairly smooth road?
