Today we’d like to introduce you to Jessica Arteaga.
Jessica, can you briefly walk us through your story – how you started and how you got to where you are today.
I’ve always loved following fashion icons and slowly started sharing what I love including fashion, daily outfits, or just things in general that made me happy. Once I became a mother, I transitioned into more of a lifestyle. It’s nice to have a little human to take pictures with.
We’re always bombarded by how great it is to pursue your passion, etc – but we’ve spoken with enough people to know that it’s not always easy. Overall, would you say things have been easy for you?
It’s definitely been challenging at times. Especially when you see so many people doing the same thing, You will always think of how you can better yourself. I am my biggest critic but I have to remember what makes me happy and staying true to myself no matter what obstacles come my way.
So, as you know, we’re impressed with Jesslovelyco – tell our readers more, for example, what you’re most proud of and what sets you apart from others.
One of the biggest brands that I’ve worked with is a fine jewelry line called Mejuri. It’s so amazing creating styles with the pieces and bringing them to life.
Were there people and/or experiences you had in your childhood that you feel laid the foundation for your success?
Oh yes! I grew up with very strict parents. I never understood why I wasn’t allowed to do certain things. Today, I am thankful because it’s shaped me into the person I am. I can’t thank my parents enough!
