Hi Dahryen, can you start by introducing yourself? We’d love to learn more about how you got to where you are today?
I was born in Texarkana, Tx raised in Dallas, Tx since 2 years old. My love and passion for art has always been within me and around me. I love music and instruments and how it lift my spirits in my darkest hour. God gave me a beautiful daughter at the age of 22 and I have been blessed with the gifts of creativity to move forward for us to pursue my craft of doing everything surrounding my Arts. Who I was before was a mother and who I am now is evolving woman and I am thankful those layers were shown because I am a better version of the woman I was. I have done makeup and natural hair 10 years. Makeup gave me an outlet of expression when I want to speak but no words can come out, The Talents speaks for itself. I have perfected my talents and also had repeating clients who I make bring out the natural beauty in them. I believe in enhancing the natural parts because that’s my way of showing my clients minimal is just enough and the world as well. You and I are enough!
Alright, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall, and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
The beauty industry is changing and evolving every day so keeping up with new trends and creating new ones make everything more refined and fresh for the culture of today. Yes! There can be some struggles with building your brand in this industry because it’s some high competitors but sale your product and promote no matter what’s going on. You have to find your thing and stand out from the rest!

I am a freelance self-taught makeup artist and natural hair stylist/ loctician. I’m known for my beautiful blended makeup looks. I use different tips and techniques to achieve flawless makeup application for my clients. Making my clients feel beautiful from within with just little to minimal face products. “You don’t have to look cakey like a clown to wear makeup.” I am proud of how hrs. push myself to perfect anything I do as I will keep striving to get to my end goal.
Where do you see things going in the next 5-10 years?
I want to be able to open my own Nonprofit organization. For kids who want an opportunity in the beauty industry as old as 8 and older seeking guidance and classes. I want to offer teachings in every area of the beauty world such as: Modeling, Hair, Makeup, Photography, etc. I want to be able put these mentees in a career field they love from an early age. So, they can start being successful now than later. I always pushed myself on knowing what I wanted early in my 20s and putting everything on the back burner because of life. To realize life happens to everyone let’s live in the NOW!
