Hi Erica, thanks for sharing your story with us. To start, maybe you can tell our readers some of your backstories.
I started off as an agency model for DMG Model management. As a model, I became intrigued with makeup as I developed a close relationship with the agency makeup artist. Once I expressed my interest in becoming a makeup artist, the agency artist took me under her wings and taught me everything she knew & I started out with my fellow model colleagues & gradually transitioned into film, print work, and concierge makeup services freelance for an agency.
My turning point from model to makeup artist to licensed esthetician was when I did a freelance photoshoot with a model and she stated to me, “oh I see you have your little makeup kit!” At that point, I wanted to be taken seriously and researched the best school for esthetics in Dallas Texas. During my esthetics journey to becoming licensed, I fell in love with brows.
And from there I perfected my craft and brow experience curation. As people remember how you make them feel and I desired to place intention in every aspect on how I provide my experiences. And, that’s how I came up with the business name & slogan, Broūūs Spa, “The Brow Spa Experience.”
We all face challenges, but looking back would you describe it as a relatively smooth road?
I think the phrase “smooth road” would yield for context. I’d say I’m blessed to have a career that I love, eat live and breathe. I would choose Broūūs Spa every day rather than A different career path.
I’d say the journey to taking a leap of faith wasn’t easy. As I’ve always worked in a dual industry over the past 13 years. A responsible job in the medical field and an esthetics creative during my free time. Leaving the medical field was not an easy transition for me as I enjoyed working in the medical field. I feel as though my dual experience has enabled me the be prepared in various ways. Especially when it comes to the pandemic as I’ve been on top of protective equipment, infection control, sanitization, sterilization, etc.
Can you tell our readers more about what you do and what you think sets you apart from others?
Broūūs Spa exceeds expectations in the natural brow grooming industry. I specialize in natural brow grooming, brow enhancements & customized brow spa experiences. Brow grooming such as sugaring, threading, precision tweezing, and derma planning to provide a crisp brow design & of course customized brow mapping to clients’ specific facial anatomy. Accompanied with customized brow spa experiences such as hand and forearm massage, aromatherapy & much more. Your brow treatments entail much more than a “quick in & out brow service.” But if you prefer an in & out brow treatment, we offer similar treatment options for you as well. We take pride in providing a “Brouus Spa experience.“
Broūūs Spa sets the tone for every brow treatment, as we specialize in curating a customized spa experience. Every experience encompasses a locally baked dainty treat by @everythingbyalexa & organic soothing-calming hot tea. Additionally, Broūūs Spa has incorporated a soothing spa aromatherapy candle in partnership with @Auraofopulence candle & Co (the candle is available via pre-order, client may sign up for candles release date). Broūūs Spa aims to provide the best, as we support the entrepreneur & creative community. Additionally, we accompany every treatment with Broūūs Spas’ very own aromatherapy oil elixir experience (available for purchase or pre-order). And, last but not least, we provide a customized aromatherapy Broūūs Spa experience curated specifically for a client during their appointment.
The spa is exclusively blocked out for one client at a time, this means no other client(s) will be present during your appointment time. This is to curate safety and ease with regards to the current pandemic, as we take our health and the health of our clients seriously. The spa is carefully sanitized immediately after every appointment, as we have 6 methods of sterilization, disinfection, and Sanitization.
We are by appointment in spa only Tuesday, Thursday & Saturdays with the exception of holidays as we may open on off days (dates will be available on scheduling if open on an off day). In spa experiences will receive the Broūūs Spa address via email confirmation, once your deposit is sent via our booking site. To view address please refer to your appointment email confirmation, click consent form link located in confirmation email & send completed forms to brouusspaInfo@icloud.com & arrive fifteen minutes prior to your appointment.
Additionally, Broūūs Spa offers concierge Wednesday & Fridays only, as some clients prefer a luxury celebrity brow spa experience in the comfort of their own home. We also offer special event brow spa experiences for groups of two or more (special events or cooperate events). And soon to come Broūūs Spa lounge and sip courses for the everyday woman interested in learning how to upkeep her brows in between appointments. Professional courses with a certificate of completion will soon be available for licensed esthetics professionals interested in learning Broūūs Spa techniques.
I believe all of which my business encompasses along with exceptional customer service is what I’m most proud of & what sets me apart from other esthetics brands. I’ve made every intention to curate a customized & unique brow experience.

- Broūū Grooming $55 I’d say it’s important for potential clients to understand the are reserving much more than an in and out brow services as they are reserving and experience & to take in consideration how much every aspect of my experience would cost if thy went to an establishment that specializes in each aspect of the treatments I offer. As each treatment encompasses sourced experiences from other establishments along with specialty certificates in various practices.
