Today we’d like to introduce you to Joy Dionne.
Hi Joy, we’d love for you to start by introducing yourself.
My name is Joy Dionne, I am a branding, lifestyle, and event photographer. I specialize in capturing lasting memories for entrepreneurs/ business owners, families, and event planners. Also, I am the owner of Compass 360 Photobooth servicing DFW and the surrounding areas for Wedding, Nightlife events, and Private events. I officially invested in my photography passion in 2019 right before the world took a virtual shift, I saw the opportunity to not only master my camera skills, but to speak life into each of my clients creating a opportunity for them to be comfortable during Photoshoots while allowing me to tell their story through my lens. Having an eye for detail, imagination, and patience are some of my major strengths that I have learned in the Photography business. As I continue to grow in photography industry, I seek to always remain a student in the Photography business not only enhancing my personal brand, but helping my clients take their brand to the next level.
I’m sure you wouldn’t say it’s been obstacle-free, but so far would you say the journey has been a fairly smooth road?
I am a 10-year IT Professional as a World-Wide Digital Strategist so in the beginning finding the balance of still excelling in my career and perfecting my craft as a new photographer was a challenge due understanding the industry, finding my own style, and building my pets brand in DFW.
In the beginning one of the challenges, I had was trying to focus on the area of specialty I was most passionate about that would allow me to stay motivated to keep picking up the camera. Once I was able to identify my style based on my personality as bright and vibrant, I knew the exact audience I wanted to specialize in moving forth.

J Dionne Photography is preparing for football season as we are apart of the Dallas Cowboys fan photography team. As well as working with our signature Brand Ambassadors building Modeling, Fitness, and Entrepreneur content for personal websites.
