Today we’d like to introduce you to Kylie Dang.
Hi Kylie, we’d love for you to start by introducing yourself.
Originally born in Dallas, but at an early age moved and raised in a small town in Oklahoma. I spent my childhood visiting DFW on occasion and fell in love. After graduating with a Bachelor’s degree in Marketing and Management from Oklahoma State University in 2017 I finally moved to Dallas to pursue a career in Marketing and Social Media Management.
I quickly grew in my career and became the Marketing Director at a luxury interior design firm where I helped and guided not only the firm but as well as clients’ brands to better their content marketing and public relations initiatives. As an optimistic go-getter, I am passionate about helping others and made the decision to take that passion and pursue real estate to help others find their home. This year, I joined the Mooney Real Estate Group at Compass as the Marketing Director and Licensed Agent. I feel so honored to not only be a part of such a great brokerage and team but to be able to utilize my marketing expertise and my passion for helping people find their homes.
When not assisting clients with real estate or putting together marketing materials, you can find me exploring Dallas with my husband and two dogs (Kloe and CJ). I enjoy spending time with family and friends trying out all the new Dallas restaurants and going on walks around my Uptown neighborhood.
I’m sure you wouldn’t say it’s been obstacle-free, but so far would you say the journey has been a fairly smooth road?
It has not always been a smooth road – actually quite bumpy. One of the biggest struggles or should I say massive potholes along my journey was being diagnosed with Type 1 Diabetes my last semester of senior year in college. It was always in my plan to move to Dallas right after graduation and immediately begin my career in Marketing but with this diagnosis and completely having to change my life – everything felt so unknown. I moved back to my small town in Oklahoma for a bit to try to get a handle on living life with T1D and even considered just staying there and teaching. Thankfully, I regained my confidence and decided that I wasn’t going to let this illness hold me back!
Can you tell our readers more about what you do and what you think sets you apart from others?
I am a Realtor® and Marketing Director for the Mooney Real Estate Group at Compass. I handle the team’s and my personal marketing, branding, social media management, and content creation as well as help clients buy or sell their homes. I am known for my consistency, strong work ethic, and creativity. My ability to turnaround high quality and unique marketing materials and content is what sets me apart from others.
