Today we’d like to introduce you to Alexis Moore.
Hi Alexis, can you start by introducing yourself? We’d love to learn more about how you got to where you are today?
I’m Alexis~ Originally from Memphis, TN where I grew to establish a strong foundation of family values, respect for all people, an appreciation of time, perseverance, determination, envisioning & setting my goals, planning & execution, follow-through, and above all else maintaining a spiritual foundation. I know that’s a long list and that’s exactly why I’d never trade where I’m from.
I’m confident my solid foundation positioned me to flourish in the DFW Metroplex’s major commercial market. The growth’s kept going and so have my life’s experiences. I was inspired to begin my online boutique TRUE beautique & also to pursue additional entrepreneurial endeavors along the way right here in Texas.
Would you say it’s been a smooth road, and if not what are some of the biggest challenges you’ve faced along the way?
The road to success is rarely smooth; however, everything’s worked together to bring me to where I am. Both the good and bad experiences have created my life’s balance.
In actuality, everything I’ve experienced brought me to exactly where I am today. Spiritual teachings from as far back as I can remember, continuously processing my mother’s passing from breast cancer when I was 11, my father instilling my strong faith & say less, do more example, my grandmother’s cautious & fearless character, my family’s unity in difficult & joyful times, my daughter’s birth at 19 years old, the support of admirable women who stepped in to show not just tell me how to be a great mother and woman, finishing my BS in Business Management on time when my daughter was 2, followed by my MBA in Marketing which was a goal to complete before my daughter started elementary school.
It was important for me to give her as much time as possible which I have no doubt has contributed to her success today as the Founder of www.PersonalSpaceDesign.co
Appreciate you sharing that. What should we know about TRUE?
TRUE is a source for products, services, & inspiration to all. Alexis Is TRUE. My online boutique TRUE Beautique started during a very trying season in my life. In the passing death of one of my closest loves that year I am forever reminded to give more life to everything I do. I didn’t have a logo at first but I truly believe we are anchored & safe no matter what comes our way plus a familiar song of being anchored stuck with me to seal my logo in. With owning my own business comes knowledge of all aspects of business management & marketing which both are my areas of expertise. I continue to work full-time for a leading multinational transportation company, I’m signed with a prominent Dallas talent agency and am frequently booked as talent for commercial print/acting, I’m a certified tax preparer with the best tax team in the DFW Metroplex licensed to cover all 50 states, and I’m also licensed to write life insurance policies which is a subject near and dear to me. Overall I’m in the business of helping people and I wouldn’t have it any other way.
I’m most proud of the fact that what I do doesn’t fit into a box. I’m available to assist my network as needed in multiple areas of business and in life.
What makes you happy?
Spending time with those I love is what makes me happy. If we’re traveling, the location is an added & welcomed bonus. It doesn’t matter if I’m on a backyard patio or traveling overseas as long as I’m in the midst of love and great energy, I’m happy.
Work also makes me happy. I can draw a direct line between the impact and influence of my work and the people I’m able to help and that brings me joy.
