Today we’d like to introduce you to Alyse Hope.
Alyse, please share your story with us. How did you get to where you are today?
I started EAT. PRAY. HOPE.® as an extension of my fashion blog, I Am Ms. Hope. My goal was to create uplifting, inspirational apparel for everyone, (men, women, and children). Once I got my blueprint down for EAT. PRAY. HOPE.®, I got it trademarked right away. I officially launched my website on December 3, 2018 and the rest has been history!
Overall, has it been relatively smooth? If not, what were some of the struggles along the way?
LOL! I wish I could say that this journey has been easy, but unfortunately, it has not. There has been many, many, many of struggles along the way! From experiencing bad web developers, vendor issues for my apparel line, inflation on shipping… etc. I can go on and on. There are a lot of small things that I didn’t think about when running a business. There have been some major growing pains, but what doesn’t kill me will make me stronger.
EAT. PRAY. HOPE.® – what should we know? What do you guys do best? What sets you apart from the competition?
EAT. PRAY. HOPE.® is for everyone. It is dedicated to bringing customers inspirational, uplifting, fashionable apparel. Our selections range from unisex printed t-shirts to embroidered baseball caps.
I am most proud that I have built my company from the ground up. What started off as a dream, a vision has become my reality. I love seeing people rep my brand proudly as if it’s their own! There is no greater feeling!
EAT. PRAY. HOPE.® is literally a lifestyle. Each word is a vital part of our life that we need to survive daily.
What is “success” or “successful” for you?
I set out defined goals for myself, some big, some small. For example, defining my company’s name and motto, and designing a website. Each goal was given a specified date of completion. I personally define my success by achieving or redefining my goals within that specified time.
