Today we’d like to introduce you to Andrew Figueroa.
Thanks for sharing your story with us Andrew. So, let’s start at the beginning and we can move on from there.
My passion for being a DJ first started in my teen years. I was blessed to have people in my life who were able to mentor and coach me as well as others who challenged me. I have worked under several different DJ businesses gaining experience and confidence for over ten years. I finally took the leap and started Everlasting Sounds in 2012. Thanks to the many business friendships in place, the company has grown into a five-man operation. We continue to learn and grow, never sacrificing quality, and we hope to have many more years of making Everlasting Sounds.
Has it been a smooth road?
I don’t think any business starting up can say they had a smooth road. Never having been involved in running a company meant that I had to learn everything about managing a business. From the start it was and still is important that everything we do is quality entertainment by the books. There are more hurdles to jump through to make sure we operate legally. It would be cheaper and easier to cut corners, but we never wanted to do that. I also try to make sure that everybody at Everlasting Sounds holds that same value, which can cause conflicts. But quality and value is of upmost importance.
So, as you know, we’re impressed with Everlasting Sounds DFW – tell our readers more, for example what you’re most proud of as a company and what sets you apart from others.
We are a Christian mobile DJ company that specializes in sound, lighting, monograms, and photo-booths.
We have our clients meet their DJs just to give them peace of mind that they know we will take care of their event.
All of our DJs do only one event a day and are based on venue rental hours verses 4hrs at (x) amount with overtime being (x) amount more.
Let’s touch on your thoughts about our city – what do you like the most and least?
Fort Worth is a crowning city that has amazing people and places. I always love taking my wife to west 7th street for dates and just walking around seeing everything and tasting so many different foods down there.
