Angela, please share your story with us. How did you get to where you are today?
I started this company in 2011 at my dining room table where I began making gifts for friends and family. It quickly grew into a business after that.
I’m sure you might be wondering about the company name. It is truly a reflection of my personality….. I’m sweet but of course I have a sassy side. I wanted to be a tad different so I added an “E” to sasse instead of spelling it the traditional way. I felt that was the perfect name because all of my pieces are made with love and have a little edginess as well.
One of my biggest accomplishments was being featured in 2016 Cosmopolitan UK as a “Summer Must-Have.” I truly love what I do and enjoy the smile that I bring to each satisfied client.
Has it been a smooth road?
Moving from various cities was a challenge. I started in Atlanta and then moved to Maryland, Vegas and Texas due to my husband’s military career. Each market has various trends as well as styles, so tapping into what the clients need has always been important to me.
So, as you know, we’re impressed with Sweet n Sasse – tell our readers more, for example what you’re most proud of as a company and what sets you apart from others.
I make handcrafted jewelry from natural stones and leather. All items are one of a kind so my Clients never have to worry about someone having their exact piece. Let’s touch on your thoughts about our city – what do you like the most and least?
I like that no matter where I go I can get a different vibe. Whether it’s eclectic, urban, or trendy there’s something for everyone.
