Arkesia, before we jump into specific questions about the business, why don’t you give us some details about you and your story.
ArCh was not the goal! It started with a desire to help young women and from there, I understood that in addition to needing additional training and funding, people needed a reason to listen. It took praying, studying, and excruciating amounts of waiting.
We’re always bombarded by how great it is to pursue your passion, etc – but we’ve spoken with enough people to know that it’s not always easy. Overall, would you say things have been easy for you?
Absolutely not. Lack of support has always been an issue but when pursuing esthetics, I told no one because I didn’t want the negative energy. During school, the instructors and administrators were selective about who they wanted to teach and asking questions was not encouraged so I had to check in over and over again with myself about what I was doing and why. I had to be proactive and pursue supplemental courses and I made a decision to raise the bar and be the model I expected to see. When my son passed away, I drowned in depression and lost the desire to do anything at all. What little faith I thought I’d had, went out the window. I had to surrender and be completely reborn.

ArCh Skincare Provides full body waxing, skincare, teeth whitening, detoxing, body contouring in addition to lash and brow tinting and extensions but what sets ArCh apart is the customer experience, I am very attentive and take time to notice small details.
What were you like growing up?
Same as now, I’ve always been told I have an old soul or that I’m wise beyond my years but I really enjoy making memories with friends and family. I love reading, music, and spontaneity.
