Today we’d like to introduce you to Armando Campos.
Armando, please share your story with us. How did you get to where you are today?
My name is Armando I recently turned 20 November 18, I graduated from Mesquite high school in 2017 and really didn’t know what I wanted to do long term career-wise I never wanted to go to college because it never interested me. Since 15, I’ve always worked in landscaping and around October 2018, I told myself I’m going to save up and buy the equipment and just start my own company since I’ve seen how successful the business can be. February 2019 came and I had saved enough money to buy equipment and start my own company.
Great, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
I’ve had one really big struggle when I started back in March I signed a contract with another business owner on doing homes for him, long story short he cut me off very unprofessionally and broke the contract without any proper paperwork. He did it through a phone call at 6 am around August. I couldn’t do anything I’m not rich to get lawyers and sue him because he’s pretty rich himself. Long story short, he cut me off unprofessionally over the phone, without any proper paperwork.
Besides all that I got back on my feet and gained more homes since then.
Please tell us about A & C Lawn Care.
My company is a lawn care company we mow, edge, trim bushes, blow, clean up leaves, plant flowers lay down sod (grass). We basically do it all. I have about five years of experience in this field I give my clients quality work that they love. I take my time and don’t rush on projects I always make sure my client’s home looks perfect when I leave. I’m also a one-stop-shop, I literally know a lot of people in every field of work that’s something my clients enjoy because they know they can count on me to always find someone to get a job done for them that isn’t landscape related.
Do you look back particularly fondly on any memories from childhood?
I was raised in Los Angeles I really miss going to Dodger games with my cousins that was always a good time.
