Today we’d like to introduce you to Ashley Richardson.
Every artist has a unique story. Can you briefly walk us through yours?
I always wanted to express myself with Art. I used to paint but never fully satisfied. I found photography when my second child came and we created scenes daily. I would post my photos of my children and starting receiving request. I only wanted to do it for fun. Because it made me whole. It set a fire in me that burned endlessly. Never did I think I could make a career out of this and 5 years later be considered as Ashley Nicole Photography. I was only a mother with the passion for art and photography. Never could I have imagined. But through Social Media and family and friends referral. I help families make memories last and Focus on love with every photo.
Please tell us about your art.
My art is how I feel. I always ask the client what vision did they have initially. I try to focus on that specific request and bind it with love. Love conquers all and covers all the flaws of life. That is how I see art, through love. I started with all types of photography 5 years ago. I tried it all. But I Love, Love, Love weddings. I Love helping to capture the story and focus of the love through my art and professionalism. I feel like photography found me. I feel like I have always captured the moment with in my life and family, but I needed to expand and help others create art to make them feel what I see, Love. I always tell people the photos are free. I just need you to pay me for my time. If I could, when I can do it for free, I do. I love Photography. It allows me to create just that, Love.
We often hear from artists that being an artist can be lonely. Any advice for those looking to connect with other artists?
I think you can get lonely, but supporting others always fills that void for me. You have to respect ART, because it’s just that, something that was created through a feeling and emotion. It’s hard to be able to show people you. Showing people who you really are and explaining to people why. Few will get it and the ones that don’t should respect it. But if they don’t, go to the people who do respect your work and support theirs. It’s an exchange and balance to it all.
