Overall, has it been relatively smooth? If not, what were some of the struggles along the way?
Being a chef has its ups and downs. The one struggle I did have came two days after I moved to Dallas, December 19, 2018. I was called to a manager meeting where I would later find out that my new place of employment would be changing Management companies, and that the new management company would be bringing in a whole new management staff and a new chef that would be taken over my position, I was just hired for. So two days after my new job relocated me to Dallas, TX 30 days from that day I would be out of a job and wasn’t able to move back home because I just signed a 15 months lease on my new apt smh. But me being from Detroit and having that hustle mentality, I definitely wasn’t going to let that stop me or hold me back from the blessings I have coming to me.
Please tell us about Toro Toro Fort Worth /Legacy Cuisine.
Legacy Cuisine is my style, new modern American cuisine. I feel food should have no boundaries or rules, food is for comfort & for the experience the chef wants you to have. So why not take my style of cooking to a whole new level I have a quote from a famous Chef I heard a long time ago.
“Put your head down and work hard, never wait for things to happen, make things happen for yourself through hard work and not Giving up ” – Gordon Ramsey
If you had to go back in time and start over, would you have done anything differently?
Nothing this was all by God’s Design!!!!!!!!!
Shout-out to my 4 year old daughter Bailey Drem’e Williams. Daddy love’s you
