Today we’d like to introduce you to Brianna Castillo.
Brianna, let’s start with your story. We’d love to hear how you got started and how the journey has been so far.
I moved to Dallas for my first job after college, I didn’t know a soul. Ten months later when I was planning on leaving, I met my husband. Needless to say, I’m still here!
I grew up in a family of entrepreneurs and always knew I’d find my way into entrepreneurship somehow, I just didn’t know where my fit was yet. We moved back home to Minnesota for a brief year where I learned real estate from my cousin, one of Minnesota’s highest producing realtors. We came back to Dallas in 2016 and I decided that this was what I wanted to do! I took my time choosing the right brokerage and then hit the ground running.
Has it been a smooth road?
No, it has been pretty difficult. I have had two babies in the past two years (only 14 months apart) and both have had some fairly significant health challenges. We have had hospital stays, hundreds of therapy sessions, and plenty of doctor visits. All of that on top of how difficult it already is to have such young children.
So, as you know, we’re impressed with The Castillo Group – tell our readers more, for example what you’re most proud of as a company and what sets you apart from others.
We are changing what the process looks like to buy or sell a house. It can seem so daunting and overwhelming. We bring a whole new twist to make buying or selling a home an achievable and enjoyable experience. We focus on education before, during, and after the sale. In just a few short years, we have achieved quite a bit! We have been recognized as Top Producers and Best Real Estate Agents in Dallas by D Magazine, Top Producers in RE/MAX of Texas, Top 500 Realtors in DFW, and what we are the most proud of is winning the RE/MAX Dallas Customer Service Award for the past two years.
Let’s touch on your thoughts about our city – what do you like the most and least?
We love the East Dallas vibe!! It’s an incredible place to raise a family, there is such a strong sense of community, and almost everywhere you look has its own unique personality. There aren’t many things we don’t love about Dallas but if we had to choose one thing, it would have to be the traffic.
