Today we’d like to introduce you to Broadway The Giant.
Broadway, can you briefly walk us through your story – how you started and how you got to where you are today.
Words from the creator and host of the “Live On Broadway Podcast.”
Unlike most, Live On Broadway Podcast originated from my home and my music.
Being a recording artist is where my expressive nature for podcasting stemmed from.
Early on I started LOBP by utilizing Instagram Live platform from my home. After receiving multiple inquiries from many of our viewers that they would be interested in attending my podcast ‘Live’; I teamed with Brooklyn’s own @thebrooklynpisces (executive producer of LOBP & one half of Go Gettas LLC), & @DaMatrixStudios and we decided to call my Giants (viewers) bluff and created a live in-studio version of the “Live On Broadway Podcast”. So now, people outside of our online presence are able to attend.
Being the ear of the reason for many of my friends’ relationships have played a part in the content development space of the LOBP experience. So although we talk a little about current events and real-life issues as they pertain to LOBP. We like to have fun and shake things up while creating an insightful dialogue between men and women about one thing, relationships.
Because Broadway wanted to make a difference in the podcast space and change the narrative, he figured what better way of doing so then by gathering perfect strangers (both men & women alike) and asking questions like; The 9 to 5’er vs. The entrepreneur, could you date someone that’s opposite to what you do? Or How do you tell your partner your not sexually pleased? And to make it fun, candid and unrehearsed, IT ALL HAPPENS LIVE!
Make sure you guys check out the #LiveOnBroadwayPodcast. It happens every Monday, 7PMish to 9PMish, (life happens) Lol! View it first via @iam_broadway Live on Instagram then later 48hrs later it’s released via Spotify, Apple Podcast, Sound Cloud, Google Play & iHeart Radio.
Overall, has it been relatively smooth? If not, what were some of the struggles along the way?
Like most things, a smooth ride is far from what it’s been. In the beginning, getting our production together; i.e: lighting director, audio engineer & video editing team proved to be trying. However, the upside of anger has always been creating the content. And that will always be our motivation.
Being raised in a single parent home has to be one of the most confusing things in the beginning. Then as time goes on it might be better than having both parents. I mean, you received all the attention so I never felt alienated. Besides, how do you miss something you never had. You learn to make lemonade with what you were given. And that’s the make of the Live On Broadway Podcast. We never worry about what others are doing. We make great out of what we have.
Please tell us about the Gold Standard Association.
As a child, I never like doing things more than once or second best for that matter. And that’s the cornerstone of my company Gold Standard Association. We learned not to lend a hand in anything we don’t fully understand. It’s with that understanding that we are able to offer the gold standard.
If you had to go back in time and start over, would you have done anything differently?
Oh, that’s simple, the only thing I would have done differently is starting sooner.
