Today we’d like to introduce you to Carol Elizabeth Hall.
So, before we jump into specific questions about the business, why don’t you give us some details about you and your story.
I started my weight loss journey on November 16, 2018, after having my second son.
I have always dealt with weight issues since I was about 11 years old. I hit a depression stage in my early years of life due to losing my father at a young age. I turned to food to make myself happy. If there was food I was in.
At the age of 14, I started to care more about my appearance. There on out my weight had always fluctuated. I was still always on the heavier side and dealt with this till recently.
I had my first son at the age of 24 lost all my baby weight soon after and than went downhill. I packed on 70+ pounds. I accepted my body and had the mindset that it was okay to be overweight and I was still beautiful.
At the age of 28, I had my second son. This was a very difficult pregnancy due to being on bed rest for preeclampsia, high blood pressure and being overweight! I had almost lost my son at 25 weeks. During the time of being on bed rest, I finally told myself consistently that this was completely my fault that I was overweight and I shouldn’t have accepted myself previously and when I do deliver my baby I will start a weight-loss journey. Delivered a healthy baby boy at 38 weeks. During the time on bed rest, I did tons and tons of research to decide what I wanted to do. I have tried so many diets in the past that I had told myself if I don’t really dig in to find out what will work for me than I won’t succeed. My husband told me he would support me in anything I decided to do and will do this journey with me. He just wanted me to stop crying about my weight and wanted his happy wife back.
An amazing friend of mine posted that she was drinking ketones and I had reached out to her to learn more about ketones and try them. I loved them!! I started with strict keto including one ketone drink per day. A few months in I started intermittent fasting. It has not been a walk in the park but it has definitely been 100% worth it. I am currently down 73.5 lbs.
73.5 lbs gone forever. My goal is 100lbs down by end of November 2019 and an extra 30lbs after that.
I started my weight-loss journey to become a healthier mommy for myself, my husband and my boys.
I am beyond happy I made this change.
I made this commitment to myself that I will continue to change till I get to my goal and I will never look back.
I remind myself daily you have to be the one to make the decision no one else can make it for you.
Mentally prepare yourself for the ride & always remember you are strong. I want to be an inspiration to others and that is why I started sharing my journey on my Instagram. ketolovin_carol_elizabeth_hall
Overall, has it been relatively smooth? If not, what were some of the struggles along the way?
It definitely struggles along the way. Nothing is ever a smooth road! Need bumps along the way to challenge you.
