Meet Chanellé Harris of Creative Photography by Chanellé in Arlington

Today we’d like to introduce you to Chanellé Harris.

Artistry and creativity is inherent in Chanellé since her family consists of photographers, graphic designers, singers, painters, actresses, and sketch artists.

Since her father was the family photographer, as a child, Chanellé used to follow him learning various aspects of photography.

Although she went into corporate America as a financial analyst, her creativity constantly grew. In turn, she abandons the security of this life and turned her passion into profit in art.

Creative Photography by Chanellé features the work of Chanellé Harris–an expressive, eclectic and soulful photographer and graphic designer based in the Dallas / Fort Worth metroplex.

Chanellé is a high-spirited, mixed-media artist who embraces her innate creativity through photography and graphic design. Although she has received formal training regarding photography, Chanellé’s style of creating art is through her perception, which pleasantly appeals to her clients. This artist is in tune with her customers’ needs exceeding their expectations on every level—especially with products and customer service.

As a result, this artist is also an interim staff at the University of Texas at Arlington (Continuing Education) where she has taught photography to Upward Bound students, senior citizens (Young at Heart Series), and others.

Chanellé’s work has appeared in the national publication Essence Magazine Online, Smooth Jazz Magazine, and Southern Dallas Magazine.

We’re always bombarded by how great it is to pursue your passion, etc. – but we’ve spoken with enough people to know that it’s not always easy. Overall, would you say things have been easy for you?
It has not been a smooth road since she left the consistent “comforts” of corporate America for risky entrepreneurship in the arts. Entrepreneurship can be scary and inconsistent, and it takes hard work which is worthwhile. She loves every bit of her life.

So let’s switch gears a bit and go into the Creative Photography by Chanellé story. Tell us more about the business.
I am a high-spirited, mixed-media artist who embraces her innate creativity through photography and graphic design. Although I have received formal training regarding photography, my style of creating art is through my perception, which pleasantly appeals to my clients. I am in tune with my customers’ needs exceeding their expectations on every level—especially with products and customer service.

Has luck played a meaningful role in your life and business?
I attribute my success in life and business to:

K = Knowledge of God

With these 4 characteristics, I remain victorious despite the trials and tribulations of entrepreneurship. I display my LUCK daily.

    Chanelle has done several events for me and my family. The most special were my 20 year wedding renewal ceremony and my 25th anniversary special gift for my husband. She always bring out the best in her subjects.

    My 50th birthday in three locations were captured by Chanelle. The colors were vibrant and she captured over 300 beautiful pictures for me.
