Today we’d like to introduce you to Chasity Samone.
So, before we jump into specific questions about the business, why don’t you give us some details about you and your story.
I first got into modeling from my first manager, Ashley Williams posted a club picture of me and my friends on Facebook and asked her following who I was. After that, I did my first Photoshoot and fell in love with modeling, and I never stopped.
We’re always bombarded by how great it is to pursue your passion, etc. – but we’ve spoken with enough people to know that it’s not always easy. Overall, would you say things have been easy for you?
Although, I am very blessed to have not dealt with any sexual harassment because many models do. It has not been easy for me. I have big boobs, and in fashion, that’s not a good quality to have. I lost many jobs due to my breast and looking “too sexy” whatever the hell that means. I also got overlooked because I was a dark skin girl on many occasions because of society conventional beauty standards.

I’m a beauty and fashion model. I’m most known for my global makeup campaigns with Jeffree Star and Danessa Myricks. I’m also known for my visual work with artist Goldlink and Wale etc. My unique beauty and quality of work is what sets me apart from anyone else.
What were you like growing up?
Growing up, I was always a leader. I wanted to do everything at school. I played basketball, ran track, cheered, and was the president of my elementary school. Once I got in high school, I was always talking about black power lol.
