Meet Dante Scott of Dantes Trends

Today we’d like to introduce you to Dante Scott.

Hi Dante, can you start by introducing yourself? We’d love to learn more about how you got to where you are today.
My name is Dante Scott and I started a retail e-commerce store that is still going which is Dantes Trends, or www.dantestrends.com it is a fashion retail site that provides clothes, jewelry, and accessories for children and pets. And I started with a loan from my father to help me get to where I am today, along with hard work and believing in myself, and never giving up, despite many setbacks and failures. As those setbacks and failures are part of the process to become successful.

Would you say it’s been a smooth road, and if not, what are some of the biggest challenges you’ve faced along the way?
No, it hasn’t been a smooth road. I have had many setbacks with my music career and business career as I stated before such as losing money, filing bankruptcy, and having to live with family members. And even times when I wanted to give up, but with God’s grace and believing in myself, I stayed true to my goal and prevailed. Because the saying goes, “none of us know who we are until we fail”.

Great, so let’s talk business. Can you tell our readers more about what you do and what you think sets you apart from others?
My business is called Dantes Trends, and it is a fashion store that sells jewelry, shoes, clothes, and accessories for children and pets. What sets my store apart from others is having the products relate to customers on a personal level, and where it feels like family, and to where they are not just another number like other stores. I also am a rapper and go by the stage name “Kache Monet” (pronounced Cash Monay), and I have been rapping for over 20 years I have been featured in Source Magazine, Respect Magazine, worked with multi-platinum rapper The Game by having one of my songs titled “Top of The Top” on his official mixtape and working with Nipsey Hussle’s DJ, DJ V.I.P, with the same song, since the song is a tribute to Nipsey Hussle, who passed away in 2019. But my brand as far as my fashion store offers a wide array of products and has lower prices than many retail stores and I am willing to make everyone happy with the products and the prices, as I can relate to the average consumer in all aspects. And I am proud of both of my brands being very unique and down-to-earth and relatable to almost everyone in all walks of life. But I offer many discounts from time to time as well.

How can people work with you, collaborate with you, or support you?
They can reach out to me via social media on Instagram @kachemonetofficial or through my website www.dantestrends.com and through my email, which is either kachemonetfim@gmail.com for my music or dantesbusiness1986@gmail.com for my retail store. As I incorporate hip hop and fashion together as one.
