Today we’d like to introduce you to Diana Rosales.
Diana, let’s start with your story. We’d love to hear how you got started and how the journey has been so far.
It all started in November 2016. I made some butterfly soaps to give to family and friends for Thanksgiving. Everyone was impressed with the soaps and suggested I sell some. I started creating different colors, shapes, themes, etc. and posting them on my social media accounts. People took notice and I quickly started getting custom soap orders. I then started looking into local vendor events to get our name and products out into the community.
Has it been a smooth road?
Keeping all our social media accounts active daily is a struggle. Making sure our content and product photography is on point is stressful since our business is an ecommerce. In the beginning, we would get taken advantage of with sponsorships not keeping their end of the bargain sometimes.

Soapsterz is family owned and operated. I’m the founder and head soap maker. My youngest brother Tommy handles all our finances and helps in any way he can. He is my rock and a gift to our family. I don’t know what I would do without him. My parent’s encouragement goes a long way. My sister-in-law designed our new logo and product labels. We are known for our personalized and customizable picture soaps. We take your image and put it inside the soap. My boss babe mentality and resilience set me apart from others.
Is our city a good place to do what you do?
Fort Worth is growing by the minute! It’s definitely opened its arms to local artists and small business owners within the last few years. I would recommend Fort Worth to someone starting out because the city has become so welcoming to artists, musicians, small businesses, social media influencers, etc.!
