Today we’d like to introduce you to Eddie Cruz.
Eddie, please share your story with us. How did you get to where you are today?
I began cutting hair when I was 14 years old at my parents’ garage in Guayama, Puerto Rico. Soon after, I understood that my God-given talent and my passion had met and I knew I wanted to persue a career in barbering. In 2011 after a lot of hard work and dedication, we opened the doors to United Cutz Barbershop & Salon. Here my family and I have been blessed to be surrounded by professionals who also have love and respect for this industry. Our barbers and stylist know the importance of image to their clients. It’s more than “just a haircut” to us. Our goal is to get you looking fresh while providing the best quality service you can receive.
Has it been a smooth road?
As a Barber and business owner, you sacrifice a lot of your personal and family time to serve others and sometimes it could be overwhelming and Physically draining. But when you love what you do and you make your client feel great, confident and Rejuvenated, it’s all worth it.

United Cutz Barbershop is a family-owned business with a great team of independent contractors. We Cater to the whole family with an Exceptional family orientated atmosphere. We specialize in modern hairstyles and straight razor shaves. We are known for our great hair cuts and quality service. I am most proud of my company’s passion to deliver Great quality haircuts and relationship building which each person that comes into our shop. It’s more than a haircut to us. What sets us apart from others is how we handle diversity. All of our skilled barbers Understand how diversity has impact on our industry and how important it is to keep everyone united and not discriminate their ethnicity. That’s why HAIR IS OUR SPECIALTY but BARBERING IS OUR PASSION.

Why we love Bedford, Bedford is a multi-cultural city with lots of improvements and standards. Located in the center of Dfw giving access to cater to the Dfw International Airport, to the Texas capital city of Grapevine, Rangers ballpark, cowboys stadium and much more.
