Meet Edgar Arreola of E Arrtistic Acting Studio

Today we’d like to introduce you to Edgar Arreola.

So, before we jump into specific questions about the business, why don’t you give us some details about you and your story.
My story starts like everyone else, filled with dreams, hopes and lots of work to do. I started my career as an actor 24 years ago and like every actor can say it was a long journey.

Worked so many different jobs along with my life from dishwasher to waiter to limo driver finally to open my own limo business and then lost it during recession times. I always wanted to be an actor but had to work and pay bills like everyone else.

One day I saw this email that changed my life… It said… need extras for movie film in Dallas… so I thought, why not!? I submitted myself and got called to participate after that day I decided that I will follow my dream.

At that time, I have never thought one day I will work next to a great actor like Denzel Washington, Mark Wallghber, Danny Trejo, Michelle Rodriguez, Beniciodeltoro del Toro, Josh Brolin, and recently an awesome film with Tom Hardy. It’s been so amazing, and the pain and rocks on the way have been with it.

We’re always bombarded by how great it is to pursue your passion, etc. – but we’ve spoken with enough people to know that it’s not always easy. Overall, would you say things have been easy for you?
Struggled? YES, I believe that if you don’t struggle so the way it won’t taste the same when you get there. From audition to audition, doors closed and bills to pay. From learning the hard way to having to downsize until there was no possible way to cut off anymore.

My family especially my wife has supported me along this journey she shares my passion for acting, so that made things easier. Falling and getting up so many time that you decide not to count them anymore, just keep going to break through.

Like I said, everyone who has succeeded had suffered along the way, has been told NO enough times, so the YES tastes the flavor of VICTORY you were eating for.

So, as you know, we’re impressed with E Arrtistic Acting Studio – tell our readers more, for example, what you’re most proud of as a company and what sets you apart from others.
I am an actor known for Winner of best actor award EDOC2007 (Manuel) in Worth the Fall (2007)which was played at the Cannes Film Festival, short corner. Edgar is known for his participation as Guillermo in Sicario (2015) (2015) staring by Benicio Del Toro, Emily Blunt, Josh Brolin.

Edgar has had the privilege of working with many great actors including Tom Hardyin the coming up Fonzo directed by Josh Trank, Golden Globe winner Denzel Washington, Mark Wahlberg, Paula Patton, and Edward James Olmos in 2 Guns (2013).

Other projects like Machete (2010) and Machete Kills (2013) with Danny Trejo, Michelle Rodriguez, Sofía Vergara, and others in both also with Kevin Sorbo in Walking Tall: Lone Justice (2007) and numerous others.

Also participated in numerous TV shows including Friday Night Lights (2006), Chase (2010) (2011), Prison Break (2005) and many others. I do have an acting studio where I help new actor who wants to peruse this career and become working actors.

I opened this acting studio to train and learn from new actors to encourage them to peruse their dreams and never quite what the love to do. E. Arrtistic Acting Studio was born in 2015 and is a safe place to be free to become a better you and to follow your dreams.

So, what’s next? Any big plans?
I am looking forward to new projects, have a couple of new projects and some that are in post-production. One of them is FONZO stared by Tom Hardy.

Working also on the production side and keep the acting studio going on so I can see my great students succeed! In the big or small screen. Waiting for the final work of “they lost our Baby” where my wife and I co-produced. We actually got the opportunity to hire great local talent for this amazing project.

Directed by Florida director Tim Sparks, I also participate as an actor on this project. Looking forward to produce and why not one day direct.
