From an early age, I was told I process things differently or I think in an unconventional manner. I have always tried to examine and rebuild every situation I have been presented. This type of thinking is what brought me to my current path. From day one, my intention has been to bring my view of this world to those around me, to basically show others what this different line of thinking can lead to. Keeping this in mind, I quickly realized music and art were the quickest way to obtain my goals and reach the community.

With music, art and community being my sole aim, I held My First full-scale event while I was still a sophomore in high school. Naturally, it was not the most successful endeavor but that did not dissuade me from continuing to pursue this path. I started working on the next event immediately after my first failure and I made sure to promptly started djing. I took on any gig I could get, high school house parties and local events. anywhere I could attempt to work for a crowd, with a bit of practice I started owning my craft.

I first Came across turntables through. Now DJ Konkrete (Los Angles) and a good friend name Sil. Both would let me come over and practice on their turntables after school.

After a year or so I stumbled across my first real show and I was immediately hooked. So, I started my first series of events called GALLERY OF SOUND – (LA TUYA). I showcased local DJs, producers, MCs and artist of all types. This is really the catalyst that pushed me forward and gave me focus. since then I have gone on to perform, organize and assist with the production of hundreds of events across Texas and US.

This year TWO:TONE celebrates 11 years of drum n bass, NO REQUESTS celebrates 4 years of hip hop and I plan on launching my personal brand destructiveME which incorporates both cultures. I am working closely with many of Dallas best visual artists to create something truly unique and true to our culture. Artist like DTOX (www.thejerod.com) And SKILZ (infinite crew, afw, 7080cru, skilz custom art ) will be leading the way with our first designs. We should be rolling out our first designs by May this year.
