Today we’d like to introduce you to Elisha McGhee.
So, before we jump into specific questions about the business, why don’t you give us some details about you and your story.
I’ve always been a planner. If it wasn’t written in my planner it was not happening. As a child, I loved all things paper. This slowly grew into a love for planning and knowing where I allocate my time throughout the day.
It all started in a stationery aisle… I was looking for a planner. Not your “ordinary” planner but one that really spoke to me. It needs to be stylish but in addition, have various spaces for me to jot down my information. Right here in this aisle is where Page Eleven first took form.
We’re always bombarded by how great it is to pursue your passion, etc. – but we’ve spoken with enough people to know that it’s not always easy. Overall, would you say things have been easy for you?
Starting a business is always a major life change, however, it’s a rewarding one. The day after I officially launched my business I gave birth to my first child. Most people think I am crazy for not stopping the business process but honestly my son gave me exactly what I needed, the courage to never give up. There are surely time management struggles “raising” both, however, isn’t that what my planner is for? To plan ahead. It has truly made me take a look at why I started this business in the first place. To help people achieve their goals. I am a career woman, a wife, a mom and a business owner. My dreams didn’t stop because I started a family and they won’t stop now that I have a business. I continue to strive to push myself to bigger things and although adversity may meet me along the way I refuse to give up.
One of my favorite quotes is, “All process takes place outside your comfort zone.” I live by this quote, we don’t truly grow until we are uncomfortable in the process. Struggles are there to test our determination and drive and we come out stronger on the other side.
So, as you know, we’re impressed with Page Eleven Paper Goods – tell our readers more, for example, what you’re most proud of as a company and what sets you apart from others.
Page Eleven Paper Goods is a stationery company designed to inspire people to keep moving towards their goals. Through our products, we hope to engage new ideas, new ways of thinking and achieving and overall a new outlook on your future. We specialize in daily planners, journals and desktop notepads which assist you in planning your day like every moment matters.
As a brand, I am most proud of my connects with the community. Through my brand, I am able to illustrate that having a blueprint for what is ahead of you will not only help you see the road clearly but will enable you to not get distracted by detours. As a small business, I’ve had the chance to get involved in youth development programs, women encouragement events and a number of educational seminars. It is my passion to create a product that will help and encourage people to continue living out their dreams at whatever stage they are in life.
So, what’s next? Any big plans?
As I continue to grow my business, I do not want to lose focus of what brought me here in the first place. My love for planning. I look forward to establishing a brand that speaks to the community and encourages development throughout. I’d like to offer seminars and events that teach people how to plan and how to successfully goal plan.
In addition, I am currently working on new product designs such as our 2019 Weekly and Hourly Planners which will be available in Mid-October.
