Today we’d like to introduce you to Breonna Gildon.
Breonna, let’s start with your story. We’d love to hear how you got started and how the journey has been so far.
I understand how difficult it can be to live a life of total surrender to God. Especially, when one has attempted Christianity multiple times!
Every day, life can feel like it’s a battle to do the right thing. God gave me this vision to empower others. By sharing transparency, my purpose is to let others know they are not alone.
As believers, we are all a part of the body of Christ. Also, I believe everyone has a story to tell. Empower Her Blog is a platform for anyone to share their stories. I really believe transparency heals.
Starting the first week of January, I stepped out in faith to start and share my spiritual journey. Since then, there has been a blog post uploaded on Empower Her Blog every Wednesday.
God revealed to me that I can’t expand this vision alone and I needed help to get a greater reach for Christian transparency. In August, I decided to open the platform to anyone who wanted to share their stories.
It’s been a beautiful journey ever since!
Has it been a smooth road?
The road hasn’t been smooth whatsoever!
It’s not easy to share experiences I’ve experienced or I am going through. The thing that keeps me going is remembering the mission of Empower Her:
“Sharing transparency to empower!”
I understand I am not sharing to simply vent, but I am being open to share my truth to help someone else in their spiritual journey.

Is our city a good place to do what you do?
Certainly, Christianity is everywhere and we all need to be reminded we are not alone.
I would encourage anyone who is just starting out to stay consistent. No matter the dream consistency always pays off and giving God access to your dream will blow your mind!
