Today we’d like to introduce you to Hannah Baylog.
Hannah, please share your story with us. How did you get to where you are today?
I’ve always been drawn to makeup ever since the time I could reach my Mother’s makeup counter. I wanted to be a professional makeup artist after realizing that making people look and feel beautiful could not only be my hobby but also my career. I decided to go to school to get my Esthetics License because skincare and makeup go hand in hand, after working in the beauty industry for about 10 years I’ve become an expert in Brow Shaping and Maintenance services as well as growing in my passion for makeup. I always knew I wanted to have my own business doing this someday.
After years of building a wonderful clientele in various high-end salons, I discovered that many of them would love it if I’d be willing to travel to them. Most of the Women (and Men) I provide services for lead busy, fast-paced lifestyles so I became a mobile beauty salon for their convenience! I bring select services right to you and I just loved the idea of having a mobile vanity to pop up wherever and whenever I’m needed and it’s been a beautiful ride!
Great, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
I’ve always had the dream that someday I would have a beauty business, I even drew up plans once with colored pencils when I was little, I just didn’t know exactly how or when that was going to happen. Working in the beauty industry for 10 years at various salons and shops helped me become the artist I am today, but I always either found myself outgrowing where I was or just wanting something more.
It would become frustrating because I knew I wanted and what I always dreamed of, but I wasn’t sure if I could do it. I felt it was time to go out on my own when things started to happen naturally and then when I finally decided to just go for it that’s when everything fell into place. I definitely believe that fear and insecurities are the hardest things to overcome when starting your own business but once you make the jump there is no looking back. If you have a dream there is a reason for it and you just have to go for it.

Being a little pampered and feeling beautiful are keys to happiness, and I truly love to connect with my clients and get to know them as well as help with their beauty needs. I specialize in bringing out natural beauty with makeup that looks great in person and on camera. I love to shape brows with a natural gentle wax or tweezing, so I actually take time to map out and shape the face correctly. I do a variety of low maintenance beauty services that are quick but make a big difference such as lash perming and tinting that will make lashes and brows look full and perfected without any makeup.
My one on one makeup lessons are unique because I will show you personalized tips and tricks to update your daily routine as well as help you go through your makeup collection showing you what you may need to add and help you use what you already have. I provide wonderful Bridal Packages that all include a Trial-Run for Brides to be. I am proud of what I do because I truly love to help people by not only providing a quality service but creating beautiful relationships. It is so rewarding spreading beauty to the people of Dallas every day!
Let’s touch on your thoughts about our city – what do you like the most and least?
I love Dallas and it’s growing and changing every day. It’s a great place for businesses because of that. Dallas is particularly wonderful for the beauty industry because Dallas women are some of the hardest working, most beautiful women on the planet. They can look great while doing anything from working to dating to being a mom. I truly believe and appreciate the understanding we have here in the DFW area that looking good means feeling great!
