Today we’d like to introduce you to Hannah-Marie Spencer.
Hannah-Marie, let’s start with your story. We’d love to hear how you got started and how the journey has been so far.
The quest for the beautification of others started when I was nine years old. I gathered several hot styling tools in order to style my oldest sister’s hair. At that point, I developed a passion to make others feel and look beautiful.
After high school, I dedicated my life to the art of hair with the fashion industry in mind! After completing school at The Aveda Institute, I went on to several internships in Dallas, Houston, Chicago, and Atlanta. I found myself back in Dallas ready to establish myself. A year later, I am the proud owner of The Secret Glocation. One place where fashion and beauty meet!
Overall, has it been relatively smooth? If not, what were some of the struggles along the way?
My biggest struggle to this day is staying humble while acknowledging my greatness. I feel a lot of the time, we as people are our biggest critics. That can hinder us from realizing how great we truly are, therefor, stunting our growth!

I am a Multi-Textural hairstylist! I specialize in color and natural hair care. I pride myself on my diverse clientele, as well as my ability to make sure each and every one of my clients feel like the one of a kind “goddess” they are! I’m also known for my unique sense of style. Nothing makes me happier than putting together an eye-catching ensemble!
If you had to go back in time and start over, would you have done anything differently?
Absolutely nothing! Through my journey, I have always stayed true to myself, so none of my mistakes have gone in vain.
