Irene, let’s start with your story. We’d love to hear how you got started and how the journey has been so far.
My husband and I started our company in 2003. We are a home based business, and we mainly offer window treatments. We custom design, make, and install all fabric base treatments. Throughout the years, we have custom made over 400 window treatments and serve over 100 customers in the Collin County and surrounding area. We offer blinds, shades and shutters through our connection to the reputable blind manufacture who offers low price and quality window products.
My husband and I work very hard to make sure all our customers are very happy with our service. We make sure customer are 100% satisfy with our service. That is why we have so many repeated and referral customer. Because we are a home base business and we have no overhead, we are able to offer quality work at a low price. We deliver all our promises, and never had a single complaint.
Overall, has it been relatively smooth? If not, what were some of the struggles along the way?
The bigger challenge is high ceiling houses. We have to figure out how to install the treatment we made without renting an expensive boom lifter. We are also facing a challenge when windows are right next to the fireplace with very little wall, we have little room to work with and need to be perfect in order to put up the drapes.

We are proud of our work and we are committed to do the best job and at the lowest price. We are honest and will not cut corners. Many times, we do extra work at customer’s request and has never charge our customer extra money. We are better than others because we take care every customer personally, and we deliver our promise.
What is “success” or “successful” for you?
I believe a company is successful if they are in business for 15 plus years and have no complaints. If all of the customers will recommend a company to their friends and families to do business, I consider the business is a success.
