Today we’d like to introduce you to Jean De Leon.
Jean, before we jump into specific questions about your work, why don’t you give us some details about you and your story.
My name is Jean and I started a soccer page. On Instagram to entertain, inform and motivate all ages for athletes. My position for the sport is goalkeeper, on this page, I post GK drills, my game performances and much more. I started with zero followers on Instagram and now I have 43K followers and I was able to gain this much followers because of my talent and the way I run my Instagram page. Has it been a smooth road?
It has been a rocky road with many ups and downs. At first a lot of people around the world we’re very negative on my videos leaving negative comments on why I was not good enough and I should just stop trying to be a professional GK. I was able to overcome the negative comments and I kept pushing my self to my limits to become the best that I can be, so far I’ve been in the best shape of my life and I am so close of making my dreams come true. At the moment I play for FFPremier in the upsl league where they develop professional soccer players to the next level.

I am known as a content creator in the GK.
Community with 43K followers so I am pretty well known in that area. What sets me apart is that I show my progress throughout my videos and many people see that and point it out and that makes me happy because I am always aiming to become better than yesterday.
Is our city a good place to do what you do?
You can start anything from anywhere from nothing, That’s how I started I had no clue what I was doing but I just wanted to see what would happen and in time my content has changed for the best. I feel like soccer in my city is becoming bigger and that gives me a lot of happiness because my city has plenty of talent.
