Today we’d like to introduce you to Jennifer Santana.
Hi Jennifer, we’re thrilled to have a chance to learn your story today. So, before we get into specifics, maybe you can briefly walk us through how you got to where you are today.
Straight from high school, I went to beauty school, completed my hours but never moved forward with anything beauty related. After several years I attended community college & eventually graduated from Texas Women’s University with a teaching degree. Financially, teacher pay wasn’t cutting it. I had been getting my lashes done for a while, so decided to jump into the lash business myself. Didn’t think I would actually enjoy it to where 3 years later, I would be quitting my full-time teacher job to become a full-time lash artist. It’s almost a year that I have been on my own & no regrets whatsoever. I love meeting new people & being able to enhance their natural beauty.
I’m sure you wouldn’t say it’s been obstacle free, but so far would you say the journey has been a fairly smooth road?
Smooth road? Never. This type of skill takes time to be great at & there’s always room to grow. The fear of not being booked or of someone not liking your service is nerve-wracking.

I’m a lash artist based out of Oak Cliff/ Bishop Arts area. I specialize in classic, hybrid, volume lash extensions, as well as lash lifts & tint. I’m known for my natural classic last sets. They are my favorite to do! What sets me apart from others would probably be that I’m one of the few in the lash industry that loves to do a classic set. I really love that natural look! My services are catered to the client. Every person that walks through my door I’m super thankful for, for choosing me as they’re lash artist!
What quality or characteristic do you feel is most important to your success?
The way I thrive to always work hard & continue growing. Every day I learn something new & I enjoy learning from others!
