Meet Jonathan Arguello, Izzi Payne and Bex Ballesteros of Nameless in FW Cultural District

Today we’d like to introduce you to Jonathan Arguello, Izzi Payne and Bex Ballesteros.

Jonathan met Bex and Izzi while working at the Fort Worth local taco shop, Taco Heads. At that point, he had been running the shop’s Instagram for around a year and a half as marketing manager. Bex and Izzi coincidentally were hired within days of each other and both showed separate interest in contributing their talents to social media and marketing. A month later, the team had assembled a summer frozen margarita campaign titled “Chill Out”, complete with a promotional commercial, posters and an in-house launch party. The success of the campaign brought the team closer together and acted as a call to action to grow the shop’s brand equity even more by going above and beyond the norm. Fast forward a year later, Jonathan decided to relieve his taco management duties to pursue marketing full time. Jonathan knew there was no way he could accomplish what he was setting his mind to without his team. Immediately, Bex and Izzi signed on as partners in the company. They then decided to name their company “Nameless” because first and foremost, they believe their work is about their client’s companies and not their own. The team proposed a full marketing package to Taco Heads a week later, with only a hypothetical brand of their own. They picked up two more clients and additional team member, Regina Calderon, within the next month. They currently keep their work for their clients as priority while slowly but surely building their own brand.

We’re always bombarded by how great it is to pursue your passion, etc – but we’ve spoken with enough people to know that it’s not always easy. Overall, would you say things have been easy for you?
Finding a good balance in developing the brand of our marketing startup and focusing on our client’s brands has been something we’re learning to do as we go. We didn’t expect to get multiple clients so quickly. Most companies build themselves up and then approach clients. We’re working backward, beginning our work with clients and now working towards building ourselves up.

So, as you know, we’re impressed with NAMELESS – tell our readers more, for example what you’re most proud of as a company and what sets you apart from others.
We are a very passionate team, nimble at heart, working out of coffee shops and our living rooms. We want local brands to be the best that they can be and represent themselves as such. Our main expertise is social media and brand management. We are known for creating cohesive, branded content. We are most proud of the success we have achieved with the Taco Heads social media presence and brand over the past two years. We stand out because we are selfless in our work. We care solely about our clients and bringing out the best in them.

So, what’s next? Any big plans?
We can’t think about the future and not think about our company. Our plan is to have a client list that makes hungry creatives and business-minded individuals drool. We wish to build our company with as much integrity as the value we offer to our clients.

Social media can and will transform into something larger relatively soon. We want to position ourselves as leaders in the industry to become pioneers of the next phase of social media marketing.

Individually, we all have plans and goals for our future.

Jonathan- I want to travel the world while working from my computer. Not constantly be gone, but being able to have the flexibility to be on the go would be a dream come true.

Bex- Since I’ve meet Bex she’s been obsessed with coffee. One of her many goals in life is to own a coffee shop where she can explore her creativity through the menu and the brand.

Izzi- Izzi will be on a production set somewhere within her lifetime. She has a passion for film and plans to make her own someday.
