Today we’d like to introduce you to Kaitlyn Norton.
Kaitlyn, let’s start with your story. We’d love to hear how you got started and how the journey has been so far.
After selling 66 homes in my first year of real estate, I knew I could have done more. I became ADDICTED to real estate and studied models, systems, and scripts on how to work smarter. I transitioned into the director of sales for the # 1 team in Utah (Bustos Real Estate) who closed out over 497 homes sold and $137 Million in volume in 2017. In 2018, after moving to Texas I joined as director of sales of The Christie Cannon Team (top 30 teams in the nation) who closed over 380 homes and $125M in volume. After coaching other Real Estate agents over the last two years, I fell in love with the high and challenge of succeeding through others. I wanted to help other real estate agents smash their goals and build powerhouse teams. That’s when I knew I had to start Rise Real Estate Coaching. It was the most natural next step.
I have an unrelenting passion for learning and growth. That passion is why I’m a huge proponent for both life and business coaching. My ambition forces me to get fiercely obsessed with growth and opportunity and you can always find me talking about big dreams. I have made it my mission to challenge others to join me in thinking big and then thinking even bigger. After all, life is all about chasing the type of fire within you that makes your eyes glow. I’m just here to be the spark to your flame!
Has it been a smooth road?
Similar to any business or start-up I’ve been challenged with the paralysis of giving up control of certain parts of my business and leveraging out the pieces that aren’t my strengths (marketing) along with managing and truly time blocking for efficiency. I also still sell homes so managing two businesses and schedules can be challenging; however, I thrive when I am busy and have a purpose.

Rise Real Estate Coaching is one-on-one business coaching for realtors who want to achieve growth and the success of taking their business to the next level. I work with individual real estate agents, agents wanting to grow a team and agents that are already on a team. I love to work with hungry real estate agents that are already established in their careers and having success but looking for a breakthrough. These individuals aren’t afraid to put in the work and that’s where we see the biggest success.
After directing two nine-figure real estate teams, I have a passion for building teams. I have traveled around the nation shadowing and masterminding with the highest producing agents in the United States. I love attending any and all real estate and business conferences and learning new ways of growing my clients’ businesses.
Throughout the years I have had many real estate coaches from multiple larger coaching companies. Most of the time, I found myself frustrated with the quality of the coaching and felt the coaching wasn’t personalized to what I needed at that moment. It felt like their agenda was to simply put their coaching clients through the same cookie-cutter call. I realized I had done more production than many of the coaches. I felt like the calls turned into me giving them takeaways to give their other clients. When I started having agents ask me to coach them I kept that in mind. I’ve made it my passion to customize my coaching to the individual client, their specific needs and challenges so the coaching is not only worth their time but beneficial to their specific business.
How do you think the industry will change over the next decade?
Real Estate is ever-changing. That’s part of why it’s attractive and addictive. In the next few years with the market shifting and the rise of tech companies getting into real estate, it will absolutely change how the industry is done today. Realtors will need to adapt and become more tech-enabled, creative and really become true experts in their craft if they want to navigate and compete.
