Today we’d like to introduce you to Krista Jeffrey.
Krista, please share your story with us. How did you get to where you are today?
I was on a girls beach trip and we all fell in love with a pair of earrings. I decided to go home and see if I could make them for all my friends. From then on, I started creating jewelry for friends and family and they all encouraged me to start a business and sell my designs. I have always had a love for fashion and trend and have loved getting to create new designs that go from season to season and can be dressed up or down. I also wanted to create designs that were affordable as I love having multiple choices of jewelry that won’t break the bank. I am thankful for the family and friends who have encouraged and been the biggest cheerleaders through this experience!
Overall, has it been relatively smooth? If not, what were some of the struggles along the way?
No, there for sure has been ups and downs with making time to get orders and new designs done with also being a stay at home mom of three kiddos under four. Thankfully, I have had a very supportive husband who has helped make this all happen.
Alright – so let’s talk business. Tell us about JJ Leigh Designs – what should we know?
I love creating new earring designs along with stackable bracelets. The first pair of earrings I ever made is the wood hoops and that has been a popular and versatile design. What sets me apart from others is my versatile designs and affordable prices. I also thought it would be fun to have my business named after my 3 kids.

Throughout this process, it is easy to get caught up in the social media world which is hard as a woman. Thankfully, I have so many women in my life from church, bible study, wholesale buyers, best friends and family who have continued to speak the gospel truth throughout this journey.
