Meet Kyle James of Financial Benefit Services in Richardson

Today we’d like to introduce you to Kyle James.

Thanks for sharing your story with us Kyle. So, let’s start at the beginning and we can move on from there.
FBS was founded in 1991 and specializes in employee benefit consulting. FBS’ core focus has been public schools districts in the State of Texas, however, our clients range from public schools to municipalities and the private sector. We deliver innovative solutions to employee benefits, alongside an online enrollment platform that allows employers and employees to seamlessly manage their benefits 24/7. Our expertise, technology platform and commitment to customer service has helped us experience steady growth and expansion.

Overall, has it been relatively smooth? If not, what were some of the struggles along the way?
Change is always a challenge. Our goal in this ever-changing world is to maintain cutting-edge technology and stay abreast of the latest trends in employee benefits, so we can offer the best to our clients.

Financial Benefit Services – what should we know? What do you guys do best? What sets you apart from the competition?
Our firm acts in an advisory capacity to employers in development of a competitive benefits package for their workforce. Our consulting services are coupled with web-based technology to offer our clients online benefits enrollment and administration. I am extremely proud to have the consulting services and benefit administration software under our management, it is unique to have these services in a one-stop shop. The highlight of our company is our commitment to customer service for our clients. We are proud to have state of the art technology software for our clients to manage their benefits, but this has not replaced the need for customer service. We have the best customer service team in the industry, who are passionate about serving others above themselves. Our team at FBS is one big family and I am proud to serve next to them.

Let’s touch on your thoughts about our city – what do you like the most and least?
My favorite thing about Dallas is its diversity; I love the exposure to different ideas, cultures and food. Oh, did I mention how great the BBQ is? The least would have to be traffic.
