Hi LaTisha, so excited to have you on the platform. So, before we get into questions about your work life, maybe you can bring our readers up to speed on your story and how you got to where you are today.
Hi LaTisha here,
I grew up in Arlington, TX, originally from a small town in southeastern Texas called Yoakum. I starting styling my own hair in junior high, then installing quick weaves and such in high school. So, hairstyling has been in my view since then, although I never really took it serious or stayed consistent. I had my first daughter my senior year of high school so I had to think quick on what my career would be. I went to technical college and obtained my certificate in Medical Billing and Coding. Having a daughter with a ton of hair, working, and going to school, I had to jump back into hair styling. I had no clue how to braid to the scalp or individually. So, 10 years ago, I taught myself how to braid by practicing on my daughter’s hair. And since then, my love for braiding and weaves has grown! I braid hair, install weaves, sell extensions and I am jumping into the world of locs.
Alright, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall, and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
I can definitely admit that it has not been a smooth road to get to where I am now. I’ve dealt with personal issues that set me back, but I continue to be strong and put my best foot forward. Another struggle of mine is clientele, that is really hard to come by when you’re not well-known. I’ve gained most of my clients by word of mouth and marketing my work.

My business was built on love and a drive to make others smile and feel beautiful. I do all braid styles, specializing in knotless braids. I also sell high-quality virgin hair bundles and wigs. My passion, high-quality services, good vibes, and inexpensive prices is what sets me apart from others. And I will continue to strive to be at the top of the list and provide my awesome services and products to all of the US and more!
