Today we’d like to introduce you to Lauren Wright.
Lauren, can you briefly walk us through your story – how you started and how you got to where you are today.
I’ve always enjoyed taking pictures even as a little girl I loved having a disposable camera and snapping a pic of everything in sight. I was gifted a camera before going on vacation a few years ago and I haven’t put it down since!
Overall, has it been relatively smooth? If not, what were some of the struggles along the way?
My biggest struggle starting out was finding the confidence in my work. I suffered from imposter syndrome I constantly got great feedback from clients but I still left shoots asking myself why are people paying me to do this. When I gained confidence in my ability I created better work and was a better photographer all around.

I am a freelance photographer specializing in portrait photography. I not only take pretty pictures but I create beautiful memories for my clients. Whether I am taking headshots for a business or family portraits I make sure to connect with my clients and build relationships, Every time a client looks back at the photos I want them to remember the fun we had at our shoot.

I wouldn’t be where I am today without my family and friends. They have been my biggest supporters from being my models, sending encouraging words, and giving me referrals they have been right there. They kept me motivating and helped in any way they could.
