Meet Leon Carr, Reginald Oliver and Edward Campbell of IMPACT214

Today we’d like to introduce you to Leon Carr, Reginald Oliver and Edward Campbell.

Leon, Reginald and Edward, let’s start with your story. We’d love to hear how you got started and how the journey has been so far.
We decided instead of being just apart of LGBTQ nightlife we also wanted to have an IMPACT on and give back to our community.

With that being said, we decided to form Impact214 as a party promoting organization that branched off into community service.

We’re always bombarded by how great it is to pursue your passion, etc – but we’ve spoken with enough people to know that it’s not always easy. Overall, would you say things have been easy for you?
No, we’ve had our fair share of ups and downs. We’ve had parties with less than 30 people, parties where we’ve reached the capacity of the venue, loss a member, gained a member, countless arguments, and venues back out on us at the last minute. As stressful and tough as it has been, we continue to strive with the purpose of improving Dallas nightlife.

Please tell us about IMPACT214.
Impact214 is an LGBTQ party promoting organization. We specialize in hosting parties for the nightlife. We are most proud of being able to overcome minor obstacles, the support we receive from our community, and the unity we share with the other party promoting organizations.

Has luck played a meaningful role in your life and business?
Honestly, we don’t believe in luck. We truly believe that things happen the way they are supposed to. We have faith.
