Meet Liza Rivera

Today we’d like to introduce you to Liza Rivera. Them and their team share their story with us below:

Liza Rivera has made Texas her home for the past 13 years. Leaving Florida behind, where she grew up, she now spends a lot of her downtime exploring the distinct regions of Texas with her

kids.

For a span of 7 years, Liza built her career in the landscape industry working for Southern Botanical while serving in many departments. Her education in Marketing and passion for people drove her to start up her own Consulting firm in 2021, where she began to focus on empowering minority-owned business owners.

“For many years, I saw the work ethic of many minorities and their desire to provide different services in the community, this is where I saw the need to aid and provide them with resources where they could thrive in their area of expertise and not worry about the HR, Marketing and Accounting skills they didn’t have”

Seeing the growth these minorities were bringing to DFW, she saw a need of mentoring and guidance in the real estate market. So, a year after building a business from scratch, she became a real estate agent in order to add to the level of service she had already been providing her clients. Liza believes acquiring a home, land, or investment in real estate is attainable by anyone who sets a goal and determines themself to track towards it with purpose.

Liza is a multifaceted trailblazer in her community. As a single mom of 3 kids, she is often asked how she does it all. Not only is she an entrepreneur, but she also serves as a Youth Pastor at her local church. “I want to be an inspiration, I want to exemplify servant leadership and let others know that if I can do it, they can too”

We all face challenges, but looking back, would you describe it as a relatively smooth road?
It has not been easy. I had to complete my college degree while raising children and keeping up a household. I have navigated through divorce and raising three boys on my own. The month I started my business my mom was diagnosed with Breast Cancer.

Alright, so let’s switch gears a bit and talk business. What should we know about your work?
I am the CEO of All 1 Purpose Consulting specializing in HR, Marketing, and Accounting for small businesses. I mainly work with minority businesses, and I help structure their business in any of those three areas.

I am also a realtor. As real estate is about relationships, and I have exceled with minorities, I strive to educate them in the real estate market as well.

I would say what sets me apart is the passion and drive I have to serve and guide others. The work I do is done with purpose and commitment to empower others.

Are there any books, apps, podcasts, or blogs that help you do your best?
I learned a lot from QBQ The Question Behind The Question, by John G. Miller.

It has helped me a lot in my career.

My favorite podcast that has helped me in life, in general, is We’re going there with Bianca Juarez Olthoff
