Today we’d like to introduce you to Lynnette Kile.
Thanks for sharing your story with us Lynnette. So, let’s start at the beginning and we can move on from there.
I’ve always been a goal-oriented, ambitious, adventure-seeking, positivity junkie. My whole life, I knew there was a bigger world than the small town I grew up in. That mentality is what propelled me to take opportunities I knew would stretch me and lead me to new people and places. I trusted my intuition, even in my younger years, of what path to follow. I found myself in a world of motivated, goal-setting, high achieving, and supportive people. I loved it! The people that encouraged, supported, and held me accountable changed my life. They taught me that I am worthy of all that I desire. My motto became “I can. I will. I’m going to.” The power of positivity soaked deep into my veins, and one of my greatest lessons, and now practice, has been on controlling my mindset. Looking back, I realize those most influential people… were my coaches. And, I recognize that most people didn’t “grow up” in their career with such influences. What I had ingrained in me doesn’t happen for many people. I can find the silver lining in anything. Take that and combine it with the study of yoga, meditation, and mindfulness and you’ll start to understand my brain and what I do for my clients.
Before I launched Life with Lynnette, my closest friends worked to convince me to go this career route for two years. They told me I should be a life coach because I naturally did that for them. Now that I’m coaching people I’ve never met face-to-face and witnessing them transform their days from “fearful” to “fulfilling,” I know I’m doing what I was as born to do. I feel that every experience throughout my life has led me to where I am now, coaching others to live their best life.
Great, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
Coming out of the certification process, I was pumped and ready to charge full speed ahead! But then I had to build a website, market my business, develop my brand, and grow an email list. I found myself overwhelmed and feeling like everything should be the next step, that it was all equally important, which put me going nowhere, fast. So I hired a business coach to help me get focused, clear and moving forward. The power of a coach is underestimated! Even as a coach, I hire coaches to help me get through all sorts of being stuck: mental, business, confidence, self-worth, motivation, parenting.
My next battle was to get over playing small-by, letting things fall through the cracks, passing up opportunities, and talking myself into believing my content wasn’t good enough. I noticed these behaviors and my business coaches told me they would come. But because I control my mind and I make my own choices, I decided to witness the thoughts, stop them in their tracks, and turn them around toward love and worthiness. I am now taking small steps every day towards the life and business of my dreams. And I can see the growth.
Please tell us more about your work, what you are currently focused on and most proud of.
I live for having conversations with people that bring on those “a-ha” moments. My specialty is life and mindset coaching for moms of young children. I focus in this area because I know that world. My mind has been in tough places. Whether that be wondering what purpose you serve in this world and how to get there, or creating a better work-life balance, or wanting to feel joyful, vibrant, peace, abundance, and clarity. The juggle is real and it doesn’t come laid out in a handbook. It takes an almost continuous evolvement. All of my clients come out of their series, describing their life as more fulfilling, and that fills my heart!
I love that I now have an outlet to share my passion for creating a peaceful mind, motivating others, goal-setting, positivity, and enthusiasm for other’s success. It is incredibly rewarding for me to see someone I have supported succeed in their mission. And, because everything I do is over phone or video, I can work with mamas all over the world. I love the lack of walls in this business and simply knowing if I’m the right coach for you, we can work together, no matter where we live.
Do you look back particularly fondly on any memories from childhood?
I always loved visiting my Nana. She made me feel loved, heard, supported, and safe. I still have that connection with her. I can remember being so shy and she was my shield. I would hang on to her leg and peek out from behind in every new situation. People describe her as bold and spunky and I hope that’s how I turn out at 87. I’m so thankful for her and her presence in my childhood.
