Hi Marcus, thanks for joining us today. We’d love for you to start by introducing yourself.
I started my moving career at my first job working for UPS. There, I was taught proper loading and unloading processes. I noticed that I loved the heavy lifting and fast-paced work, but that wasn’t enough. I decided to take it to the next level and try my luck with moving and signed up with Movinghelp.com. Surprisingly, my first independent move went great. It felt really good to put a smile on someone’s face by safely moving their belongings and giving energetic vibes in the process. I’m not going to lie, the next 2 or 3 moves went terrible. I ended up underestimating the client’s needs and overworking my partner and I. I loved the moving game but knew I had a lot to learn if I wanted to be successful. I joined a few moving groups and asked question after question. After slowly applying what I learned, I noticed a drastic change in my work ethic and became very satisfied with the pricing I established to fit each situation and weather conditions. A few months later, I registered my company, “Ambitious Moverz”, put together an amazing motivated crew and it’s been game time ever since. With consistent 5-star reviews, I am now working to expand and establish a bigger name for myself, my crew, and my company.
Alright, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall, and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
Definitely not!!! As I stated before, I faced many obstacles in the beginning amongst inadequate pricing, ugly attitudes, and lack of proper handling skills. It has been a learning process that has shaped my company into what it has now become.

We are a Black-Owned Moving company looking to build a local and Nationwide reputation. Not only are we movers, we also have delivery, furniture assembly, and junk hauling services for both residential and commercial businesses. Moving can be stressful, but with Ambitious Moverz that can be a thing of the past. We take pride in getting to know the customer and catering to their every need to lift a load from their shoulders and bring guaranteed satisfaction. Each member of our team has been trained in special handling of the family antiques, large furniture, and your favorite valuables. I’m proud of how far we’ve come from the beginning, especially the part of seeing our company’s name being tagged in majority of the “Anyone knows of any good movers?” posts across the city. Can you talk to us a bit about the role of luck?
Personally, I don’t think luck had anything to do with it. It took plenty of trial-and-error situations to get us to this position we’re in now. We did not make any excuses, we simply continued to make great progress.
