Maria, we appreciate you taking the time to share your story with us today. Where does your story begin?
I have a BS in Business Administration and spent 15 years working in corporate America before transitioning into my dream career in 2018 as the founder and resident skincare expert at Gorgeous Glow Skin Center in Plano, TX. One of my greatest joys in life is helping others—women and men—gracefully manage and reverse the aging process and to correct and alleviate troublesome skin conditions. In fact, my clients consider me their best-kept secret when it comes to looking and feeling confident and youthful!
Alright, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall, and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
As with any entrepreneurial endeavor, there are always challenges along the way. Being the first business owner in my family, I had to learn many business along with mastering my craft. But I’ve preserved, thrived, and never compromised on the quality of my treatments, products, and customer service resulting in over 1,000+ satisfied clients to date.

My corporate tag line is “True Results for Ageless Skin”, and that’s exactly the focus I have every day for my clients. Our newly expanded and renovated spa location is both relaxing and calming and truly compliments our desire for tangible results. That’s why we are different.

What are your plans for the future?
I have recently completed a business expansion and renovation at a new spa location, so my business has grown substantially since 2018 when I started in a single room. With this expansion, I have also tripled my staff.
In the future, I am exploring becoming a Med Spa in order to offer even more advanced treatments and services.
