Today we’d like to introduce you to Meg Earnest and Carrie Fruge.
Every artist has a unique story. Can you briefly walk us through yours?
We have taken an unusual path for two Texas sisters when entering the world of auctioneering. We were inspired by our philanthropic friends and wanted to do something different to give back to our community and decided this was perfect for our entrepreneurial spirit and hearts for others in need. At the end of the day, we are giving back to a wide variety of charities with maximum impact. In fact, we donated 100% of our time in 2017 to demonstrate our commitment not to mention we have so much fun doing each event.
Please tell us about your art.
As sisters we’re community-oriented focus, matched with our drive to make change happen prompted us to create our own auctioneering company. We work closely with each charity and organization to make sure their mission is understood by the crowd and to ensure it’s working to create a positive impact in the community. We break the traditional auctioneering mold but we’re classy, fun, result driven. We open up people’s wallets by having a shared belief and helping the crowd understand in quantifiable way what the donation is really doing. Siren Sisters Auctioneers are two sisters with a business acumen and social conscious. Each event we do we guarantee a good time while raising more money than the previous year!
Do you have any advice for other artists? Any lessons you wished you learned earlier?
“If you have an idea that you can’t stop thinking about do it with someone that you love spending time with and that will be completely honest with you and that happens to be my sister. She believed in my idea and then she was the driving force in executing it which makes a great team.”
